Philosophy
At Oxford Executive Coaching we believe that everyone has the ability to be brilliant. Our coaching is based on a social anthropological model of asking 'what is happening here? We know that understanding the culture, motivations and values of our clients is essential to their achieving change. Our approach is facilitative and non-directive, following the client's interest whilst constantly keeping in mind the objectives of their organisation.
Models and Tools
Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, cultures and organisations, with different aims and objectives. Oxford Executive Coaching's programmes are 'tailor made' for each individual client, depending on who they are and their objectives for coaching. To help clients achieve their goals our work draws on a wide variety of models and tools. To help understand 'what is happening here' we employ 360° assessments, cultural audits, shadowing and various leadership and management models. To help clients understand how they are likely to interact with others and see where their strengths and weaknesses may lie, we use 'personality type indicators' including the MBTI and Firo-B and the concepts of 'emotional intelligence'. We use neuro linguistic programming to give them tools and techniques for translating their vision into reality.
Coaching
We take great care to conduct our coaching in a 'sacred space', a relaxed and safe environment where our clients feel comfortable discussing whatever issues they bring to coaching. Oxford Executive Coaching put great emphasis on gaining rapport, listening intelligently and asking the right question. All our coaches have themselves had significant experience working in organizations at a senior level as well as being trained coaches. Clients are immediately confident that, not only are our coaches fellow professionals, but also they understand the environment in which the client operates.
Our clients' brilliant results prove the transformational effect of our approach.
