Máire Brankin BA. (Hons)

Máire Brankin, the Managing Director of Oxford Executive Coaching, is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading professionals in the field of Executive Coaching. Named in a leading study as one of the top three coaches in the country, Máire is renowned for her ability to achieve profound results.

A Social Anthropologist with over twenty years experience coaching senior executives, Máire is also a recognised authority in the fields of Organisational Cultural Change and Equal Opportunities. Over the years she has developed her own specialised coaching method which has now become the basis of highly successful courses training high level coaches for Oxford Executive Coaching and elsewhere.

Máire’s key work is in designing sophisticated development programmes for senior executives and professionals. Through her considerable experience working with large organisations from both the public and private sectors, Maire has an extensive knowledge of the particular issues and barriers faced by many of today’s senior professionals. She has an uncanny ability to get to the heart of what is required and to find the most effective ways in which to offer guidance and support.

Máire’s programmes are specifically designed to provide the most appropriate blend of approaches for each individual and organisation. Her work employs a range of powerful strategies to ensure continued growth and development, frequently combining One to One coaching with the facilitation of an Executive Development Group. An Accredited Trainer of NLP, Máire uses Neuro Linguistic Programming to form a core part of the coaching.

Máire’s clients include the NHS, major financial institutions and large blue chip companies from a range of industrial sectors. Her work has been instrumental in a broad spectrum of development programmes across these organisations, most notable being her contribution to the development and facilitation of the coaching programme for the NHS Women’s Unit, as well as her leading programmes for senior NHS managers and clinicians.

Through her work, Máire has helped individuals tap their greater potential, broaden their ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, improve communication and management skills, develop their creative thinking, and achieve higher productivity, personal growth and increased happiness.

Recently Máire was part of the National Work Life Forum and is involved in the Integrated Leadership Project Group. She also facilitated the development of Women's Studies at Oxford Brookes University, where she is a member of Court. She is the Chair of the national charity ICAP (Immigrant Counselling and Psychotherapy), a founder member of WIN (Women’s Irish Network), and is an active member of the IOD.
